How does the hub operate?
LMForums hold events of various types throughout the year, including seminars and lectures, roundtable forums, master classes, thought leadership sessions, executive luncheons, workshops and think tanks, and our popular social events. Between 20 and 150 professionals typically attend, depending on the theme and content.
Increasingly our events are roundtable sessions where practitioners can really understand the issues faced by their peers and debate the key topics of the day in an open forum, under Chatham House Rules.
Where did the concept come from?
LMF was created by Roger Oldham, a Chartered Insurance Practitioner and experienced senior executive who has worked with leading firms including Aon, HSBC and Marsh, in the London Market and around the globe. Roger is a highly experienced facilitator and leads many of the workshop-style forums, Q&A sessions and Market events.
His first-hand knowledge of the pressures facing the Market means he can bring practitioners, suppliers, academics and external experts together to create highly relevant events with great speakers.
How do you get involved?
